1. About Us
The rbqlicence.com website (the “Site”) and the Groupe GSC mobile app (the “App”) are operated by Gestion Solution Construction Inc. (“GSC,” “we”), headquartered at 4455 Highway 440, Suite 295, Laval (Quebec) H7P 4W6.

The Website and the App are collectively referred to as the “Platform.”
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy. The Community Guidelines are an integral part of these Terms.
If you purchase a subscription, a training course, or another service, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale also apply.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
3. Eligibility and Account
To create an account, you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- provide accurate information and keep it up to date;
- Use your own identity.
An account is personal. It is associated with a single individual and may not be shared or transferred. A company that wishes to be present on the Platform does so through the personal account of its representative.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs through your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Services Offered
Depending on the version, the Platform provides access to the following features:
- a feed of posts, topic-based groups, and a Q&A section;
- a private messaging system for members;
- directories: Partners, Subcontractors, and Marketplace;
- training programs;
- tools: documents, calculators, and Le Contremaître, a chatbot.
Access to the Platform is currently free. Certain services, such as training courses and membership subscriptions, are subject to a fee and are sold on the Site in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. GSC may modify, add, or remove features, and may charge a fee for features that are currently free, without prior notice.
5. Your content
You are responsible for everything you post on the Platform: posts, comments, photos, videos, messages, directory listings, and your profile (your “Content”).
You retain your rights to your Content. By publishing it, you grant GSC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, reproduce, display, and technically adapt it to the extent necessary for the operation, display, and moderation of the Platform. This license ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for copies retained in backups during the period specified in the Privacy Policy and for Content that has already been shared or reposted by other members.
You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to your Content and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
Content posted in the feed, groups, Q&A section, and directories is visible to other users. The Privacy Policy specifies what is visible and to whom.
GSC does not review Content prior to its publication, except through the moderation mechanisms described in the Community Guidelines. GSC may remove any Content that violates these terms or the Community Guidelines.
6. Directories
Partners. The offers listed in the Partners directory come from companies that have a partnership agreement with GSC. Each partner is responsible for its own offers, their terms and conditions, and their fulfillment. GSC does not sell the partners’ products or services and is not a party to any transactions entered into with them.
Contractors and Marketplace. The listings in these directories are published by members. GSC does not verify their accuracy, qualifications, RBQ license status, or the quality of the goods and services offered. GSC acts solely as a technical intermediary. Any transaction between members is conducted at their sole responsibility. Before hiring a contractor, verify the validity of their license with the Régie du bâtiment du Québec.
7. The Foreman and the Calculators
Le Contremaître is a chatbot developed by GSC and based on an artificial intelligence model provided by a third party. It can answer questions about construction regulations, guide you through the Platform and connect you with partners, and perform certain actions in your account at your request.
These responses are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. They do not constitute professional, legal, or technical advice and are not a substitute for official texts, including the Quebec Building Code and documents issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec. You remain responsible for verifying any information before taking action.
Any actions taken by Le Contremaître in your account are carried out at your direction and under your responsibility.
Calculators are tools provided for informational purposes only. Their results depend on the data you enter. They are not a substitute for calculations performed by a professional.
The handling of your communications with Le Contremaître is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Training
Courses are offered on the Website or through the Lära learning platform. The purchase of and access to courses are governed by the Terms and Conditions of Sale. Access to a course is personal and may not be shared.
Certificates issued upon completion of a training program merely confirm that you have completed the program. They do not guarantee that you will obtain a license, a qualification, or a specific result from any organization, including the RBQ.
9. GSC's Intellectual Property
The Platform, its code, design, trademarks, text, training courses, documents, and tools are the property of GSC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your access grants you a personal, non-exclusive right of use, limited to the normal use of the Platform. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without written authorization is prohibited.
10. Prohibited Uses
It is prohibited to:
- use the Platform for any purpose that is illegal or violates the Community Guidelines;
- create multiple accounts, impersonate someone else, or provide false information;
- automatically extract data from the Platform (scraping) or compile lists of members;
- circumvent security measures, probe for vulnerabilities, or disrupt the operation of the Platform;
- decompile or reverse engineer the Application;
- resell or redistribute access to the Platform, training courses, or tools;
- Use Le Contremaître to generate illegal content or to attempt to circumvent its restrictions.
11. Account Suspension and Closure
By you. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings. The deletion is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Purchased courses and order history are retained as specified therein.
By GSC. GSC may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, in the event of a breach of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, a security risk to the Platform or its users, or a legal requirement. Suspension without notice is reserved for serious or urgent cases.
You will be notified of the action taken and the reason for it. You may contest it by writing to info@groupegsc.com. Your request will be reviewed by a GSC representative within 10 business days.
Closing an account does not entitle you to a refund for services paid for, except as provided in the Terms and Conditions or by law.
12. Platform Availability
GSC makes reasonable efforts to keep the Platform accessible, but does not guarantee continuous availability. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. GSC may modify or discontinue all or part of the Platform.
13. Liability
The Platform is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, GSC does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information posted by members or partners or generated by Le Contremaître, and is not liable for:
- Content posted by members or transactions entered into between members or with partners;
- decisions made based on information, responses, or results obtained through the Platform;
- indirect damages, including loss of profits, loss of contracts, or loss of data.
Nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or any other public policy law, nor does it limit GSC’s liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence.
14. Personal Information
The collection and use of your personal information are described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Changes
GSC may modify these terms and conditions. Significant changes—that is, those affecting your rights, obligations, or the services offered—will be communicated to you via the Platform or by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Minor changes, such as corrections, clarifications, or updates to contact information, are posted on the Platform without prior notice. Your continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of that change. If you do not accept a material change, you may delete your account.
16. Governing Law and Language
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Quebec. Subject to public policy provisions, any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of the judicial district of Laval.
These terms and conditions are written in French. The English version is provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version shall prevail.
