Eligible licensees are required to complete a specific number of continuing education hours during each two-year reporting period to maintain their license. The number of hours varies depending on the license subcategory or subcategories held: general contractors must complete a total of 16 hours, while other licensees must complete 24 or 32 hours, depending on the number of subcategories held or the combination of subcategories covered by the regulations of the RBQ, the CMEQ, and the CMMTQ.
