1. The spirit of the community

Groupe GSC is a space of mutual support for construction people in Quebec. People come here to ask questions, share their experience, find resources and do business. The principle is simple: behave as you would on a job site where you want to be called back.

2. What is prohibited

  • Harassment and intimidation: insults, threats, personal attacks, hateful or discriminatory remarks.
  • Illegal content: any content that breaks a law, incites an offence or facilitates undeclared work or work without the required licence.
  • False information: impersonating someone else, claiming to hold a licence or qualification you do not have, publishing information you know to be false.
  • Explicit content: sexual, violent or shocking content.

3. Subcontractors and Marketplace directories

4. How moderation works

Published content goes through three levels:

  1. Automatic filter: server rules block certain content as soon as it is published (banned words, formats, frequency).
  2. Artificial intelligence review: the content, including the text in images, is analyzed by an AI system that flags content that may breach the guidelines.
  3. Human validation: a person at GSC reviews the content flagged by the AI or by members and decides on the measure to take.

Content may be removed or temporarily hidden by levels 1 and 2 before a person reviews it. You are then informed and may contest the decision. Every contestation is reviewed by a person.

5. Reporting

Any user may report content or behaviour from the Platform. GSC processes reports within 7 days. The reporting user is not informed of the measure taken, unless it concerns them directly.

  4. Account deletion

In the event of a serious breach, in particular threats, fraud or illegal content, GSC may proceed directly to suspension or deletion, without notice.
