Which RBQ exams are required for subcategory 6.1?
To act as a guarantor for Construction Work Execution (ETC) in this subcategory, you must pass a specific RBQ theory exam. This is a 3-hour multiple-choice exam, for which the passing score is 60%. (Note: As with any contractor, the core exams in administration, safety management, and project management also apply.)
What other types of work are included in subcategory 6.1?
As a contractor holding subcategory 6.1, your license entitles you to perform additional work. It automatically authorizes construction work included in subcategory 6.2 (Wood and Plastic Work Contractor) of Schedule III. In addition, it allows you to perform all construction work deemed similar or related.
